Making tincture

In class we learned about how to make a tincture from Tulsi, alcohol, and water.
Tulsi is an adaptogen so it is good for reducing stress. :)
Fill a jar one third of the way with dry herbs.
Next, pour a 95%grain alcohol up to 75% of the way followed by a bit of water to dilute the alcohol.
Fill it to the brim so the air space is minimal and herbs are completely covered in the jar.
Let it sit in the jar for 2 weeks and then strain.
You can store the tincture in tiny jars. The standard dose for tinctures is 3 droppers full (20drops) 3 times a day.
